
HYPERTRANSFORMATION & RESILIENCE: WHICH LEVERS FOR ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGY?
While crisis has become the standard and normality the exception, the managerial and organizational impacts of such a context cannot be denied.
The objective is therefore to explore the paths toward organizational resilience, which implies a highspeed Transformation strategy based on the key forces that characterized any organization : structures, processes, human factors, and technology.
Executive Director of the ESCP Business School Dubai campus since 2024, Bastian DUFILHOL is a permanent affiliate professor at ESCP and Academic Director of Executive programmes.
Prior to joining ESCP, he pursued a distinguished career in the French Armed Forces, serving in several operational units, including the French Foreign Legion. He was also involved in the training and education of officers cadets at the Saint-Cyr Military Academy. Over the course of his military career, he participated in numerous operations and held responsabilities within the central administration, where he coordinated strategic transformation projects, including initiatives aimed at simplifying the organization and processes of the French Army. He retired from active service as a General Officer.
Since 2024, he has been responsible for the strategy lecture at the Centre des Hautes Études Militaires (CHEM – Paris). He also serves as an advisor to ANOZR WAY, a French cybersecurity start-up.
Initially trained at the Saint-Cyr Military Academy, he graduated from the War College. He also graduated as an Engineer, and got a degree from ESSEC Business School and a PhD in Political Science as well. A graduate of the Institute for Advanced Studies of the Ministry of the Interior (IHEMI), he authored a doctoral thesis on State Resilience, combining perspectives from public policies, organizational theory, and crises sociology.
